The ERC website has gone through a minor update for our membership database to now inlcude details for members with Working with Children and NCAS coaching accreditation. Members with either or both of these accreditations are encourage to updat etheir detaisl on the website to ensure we have this information on our files. Please let me know if you are having any difficulty.

Notice to River Users

The Nillumbik & Whittlesea District Scouts willbe holding their annual rafting event from Afton Street jetty through to The 15th Essendon Sea Scouts on Sunday 21st February 2021 between 09:00am and 12:00pm. Please be aware that there will be significant river traffic between these times.

RSA Course @ Moonee Ponds Bowls Club

'Want to help out behind the bar on ERC club event days?'

The club is in need of people who can help out behind the bar on busy club event days, such as the upcoming HOM and the Saltwater Challenge in September. To work behind the bar you do need to hold a current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate. 

The Alcohol and Drug Foundation are running an RSA course at the Moonee Ponds Bowling club, from 6.15-10pm on Monday, February 1st. The cost to attend the course is only $40. See attached flyer for more information.

Once you have completed the course could you please send a copy of your certificate to functions@essrc.com so we have it on file.

Henely on the Maribyrnong Regatta - 21st March 2021

Our sprint regatta is coming around the corner and we need your assistance to ensure that this regatta goes off without a hitch. 

Traffic Management is one of the key roles in our regatta, to allow ERC to close the boulevard and allow safe passage across the road throughout the day.  Over the years ERC has paid for members to complete a traffic management course with the proviso that members volunteer for a shift at HOM and / or Saltwater regatta over the coming years.  The regatta simply isn't profitable without members undertaking this key role.  We are seeking members to undertake the course for this year's HOM, there are a number of courses running and could accommodate various availability.

We are also seeking members to assist with palnning for the day, including:

• Food stall coordinator
• Saturday night club dinner organiser
